Toast to singlehood

Well Well, as you can see lah, so many things happened,
with a sudden jump on replies on tagboard.
okay to my school councilor, i don't think you wished to be named
But since you have found your way here, I'm sorry.
and no, i didn't talk behind your back. i told people what i felt.
it's a personal opinion, yup.
and yes i think that at least i had the courtesy not to use the F word or spelling it out.
yes i was pissed, you see, we were trying our best, well at least myself.

Maybe, please allow me to say what i feel about the programme or rather my fellow leaders.
please remember, this is SOLELY HOW I FEEL ABOUT IT AS OVERALL

My suggestion to make it better, or rather on a whole was if we had a camp.
I understand that the school is running very low on budget,
and maybe that's one reason why there wasn't a camp.

Also, classes came up late after lunch, if i remember correctly
the latest on the 1st day was about 230/235pm
basically 20 mins behind time. and that one class caused everything to push back.
when we had camps , though we have clashes and overlapped time and all.
we made sure there would be rubber band time knowing there are sec1s

If you didn't know,
actually the Secondary One Camp is used to bond the leaders from the 3 different boards.
By taking the camp away and allowing us to be in charge of this,
meant that we have lost an opportunity to work together.
Again , If my fellow leaders were attached with the new batch of Patricians,
it would do much help x 100.
At least, they will know what the secondary one's have gone through,
from 2nd Jan 8am to 3rd Jan 4pm.

Because my fellow leaders had no idea what they have gone through
neither have they attended ALL the sessions with them,
we(I) have no idea what they are expected of,
such as how discipline was taught to them.
There wasn't any bonding, since we only had 2 hours with them.
during the 2 hours, even though there were at least 4 leaders per class,
some of my fellow leaders
may have received the worse treatment they have ever
received in their secondary school lives.
Especially those from the NA or NT
and no, I'm not saying they are very terrible YET.

So please allow me to continue how i felt about the programme,
the 2 hours to the secondary One students were like
' can we go home already?'
It wasn't really very useful as most secondary one students
(knowing this is a day camp and have a dismissal time)
only want to be dismissed.

When i was in the LT the other time,
while waiting for the AV system to be set up,
i asked them about the school history, like who founded our school.
They replied, 'Saint John Baptist', 'Lasalle'
i had to correct them. telling them nicely who founded our school
and Lasalle was the founder for all Lasallian schools.
Does that mean Brother was not successful through his talks on
Lasalle and the School History or they didn't pay attention to Brother during his talk?
I believe its the latter.

They are Secondary One students,
even Sec3 boys get bored in a lecture within half an hour
what do you expect from them,
sitting through Brother Nicholas's history talk and
carrying on to the councilor's one.
Even the teachers could walk around and talk to one another
If i had not mistaken, there wasn't any break in between the talks.
If i'm wrong, please enlighten me.

Though my peers were not in the appropriate attire,
their purpose was to help out for a skit,
and yes i wasn't in the right attire too.
i was wearing board shorts and orange crocs,
so i left the LT, yes i was pissed.
out there cursing and swearing.
going to Mr Lak's himself and all.
going to the peer support room and telling every
single one not to talk to me and let me calm down before i started to complain about everything i could.

People have feelings, i believe you,
as my school councilor were once mad at a teacher too when you were younger
about the part being a student leader.
i use the right words with my juniors and
depends on what kind of juniors too.some of them are like brothers!
and not all student leaders are good, some smoke, Some are like devils out there in public.
and definitely you have the right to be utterly disappointed with me. (:

so since it's my fault,
i once again apologise sincerely, well on my blog.

& yes, i really don't wish to carry on arguing. If need be, we ( school councilor and I) might want to go through a process of PEER MEDIATION which i don't mind since it will be a process to find a solution to it. AND everything i have said in this post, is my own feelings and have nothing to do with PEER SUPPORT BOARD!
